As a rough guide I shoot between 7 and 25 images per day depending on the complexity of the styling required and the approval method you select. For approval method 3, 4 or 5 extra time is allocated in the quote to allow for this process, see more info below.
The styling level in this image would lend itself to 7 images per day using approval method 1, 2,3,4 and 5. The background, foreground and lighting change in each of the 7 set ups. Its a large set with several props and includes the use of fresh ingredients and motion. Smaller sets with less props or fewer background changes would be quicker to shoot.

Image approval options
I know your busy running a business so I have made 5 options for approving your images on the shoot day to ensure you get exactly what you need.
1. Attend the shoot in person. I've recently moved and the building is undergoing renovation as such there may be occasions where this option is limited.
2. A send and shoot service. Using your brief and mood-board I work through your shot list and send you a watermarked contact-sheet within two days of the shoot. An affordable option if you don't need to approve the images.
3. Email approval / What's App alert. Receive messages throughout the day containing each prepared image for you to approve or suggest amends before I move onto the next image. This method is appropriate for highly styled images when shooting 7 images per day. Extra time is allocated in the quote to allow for this process, approximately 20 minutes per image. It's best to schedule a day in your diary when you are readily available.
4. A virtual photoshoot email / What's App alert. Receive a zoom link to the shoot but only be alerted when an image is ready for discussion. See the images arrive in my capture software as I share my screen with you, communicate via your audio only. This method is appropriate for highly styled images when shooting 7 images per day. Extra time is allocated in the quote to allow for this process, approximately 20 minutes per image. It's best to schedule a day in your diary when you are readily available.
5. Virtual photoshoot. Art direct the shoot remotely in real time throughout the day by seeing the images arrive in my capture software as I share my screen with you, communicate via your audio only.
Please mention during the quote process if you require one round of retouching amends after the shoot is complete. An additional half day would be required, scheduled and invoiced.

Booking Your Shoot Date
I recommend booking eight to ten weeks in advance of your photoshoot for availability, this also allows time for the shoot planning process. A 50% non refundable deposit is required to secure your shoot date in my diary along with your signed booking form and client contract. Payments are made via BACS or card payment is available for a 3% transaction fee. I've made a handy guide to help you get ready for your shoot. Website prices are in GBP a £6.00 business account transaction fee would apply for non UK client payments.
Product Delivery
Please deliver your product five working days ahead of the photoshoot to avoid pesky delivery delays :)
Choose products that are in perfect condition for the best results eg. clearly printed straight labels. Small products may be represented larger than life size, so it's vitally important to carefully package your products to reduce any scratching or damage during transit.

Image Editing
I endeavour to shoot as cleanly as possible and capture everything in camera so there is minimal retouching required. I personally undertake all retouching in the days following the shoot ensuring consistent image quality. I use composite images where appropriate for fresh products to look their very best. Included in the price of your shoot I colour balance the shoot as a whole and remove visible dust. Images are cropped to meet the brief requirements and are supplied as high res RGB JPEG's. Generally the retouching is booked in for the day after the shoot meaning a fast turnaround time to receive your lovely new images.
Please mention during the quote process if you require one round of retouching amends after the shoot is complete. An additional half day would be required, scheduled and added to the invoice.
Image Delivery
Images are sorted into folders ready for digital delivery via a WeTransfer download link which is emailed to you. Images are safely archived for six months.
Usage Rights
I provide unlimited worldwide image license for online and offline use. The image copyright is retained by me, I retain the right to use the images for my own promotional purposes once published by the client. For alternative usage options please enquire at the time of booking.
