Lifestyle Product Photographer Sally Williams styles photography for products with props and creative lighting at her studio in Hastings East Sussex UK.
I combine the role of Photographer and Stylist to create striking image composition. Book with me and you'll have access to my carefully selected range of props and backgrounds. Choose from five image approval options to ensure you get exactly what you need. I personally undertake all retouching to ensure high quality and a fast turnaround, clients receive images two working days after a one day shoot. Prices start from £420.00 for a half day shoot.

Product photography props and backgrounds
Book with me and you'll have access to my carefully selected range of product photography props and backgrounds to help style your shoot.
I choose props that are great quality in neutral tones to complement a wide variety of product types. Versatile plinths and trays add staging and layering to product group shots. Soft fabric and linen to add texture to backgrounds. Large neutral waterproof backgrounds for all those crop variations you need... Kitchenware for simple countertop scene setting. Dried foliage and houseplants add a touch of greenery and botanical shadow to your images. Reusing backgrounds and props means I reduce your photoshoot budget and generate less waste as a business.

I provide styling advice during the planning process and on set styling during your photoshoot. Combining the role of Photographer and Stylist to create striking image composition.
Whether your brand is modern and minimal or boho and rustic I'll create styled photography that conveys the characteristics of your brand. The impact of adding fresh ingredients or an unusual prop cannot be underestimated, they really make your brands image styling unique. I love being involved in this part of the job but if you already have a stylist I'd love to work with them too.

Studio lighting
I will create the atmosphere you need with beautiful studio lighting. Ok I'll admit that I'm a lighting fanatic with all the kit required to create the right mood for your products. I shoot with flash lighting to give me total control when creating these environments. There are many options to choose from,
Sunny daylight style lighting.
Super soft light with smooth shadow graduation for that sophisticated feel.
Evening light with long dark shadows.

Photography for products that is minimalist, monotone or colourful with simple, striking product photography. Sometimes less is more, this style of photography will showcase your packaging in a timeless image that is focused on your branding.
Lifestyle product photography
Capture your products in a styled environment that communicates the feel of your brand with styled product photography. Drawing inspiration from ingredients, brand ethos or the setting in which your product is used.
Remote product photographer
With Zoom screen sharing you can now join the shoot in real time from anywhere in the UK.
My camera is tethered to my computer so you can see the images being shot appear live on screen. Screen sharing gives you access to the shoot remotely from the comfort of your own office. Choose from 5 image approval methods for a custom service that suits your needs.

Consultation
Let's talk about your brand in a pre-shoot consultation, a zoom call or phone call allowing me to efficiently answer any questions you may have about planning and booking a shoot. This gives me the opportunity to learn about your products and brand identity. The client can outline the images that are required, indicating the quantity and image style through example images or a shared Pinterest mood-board. Taking into account the styling requirements and image approval method I can give an indication of the amount of time required to complete the shoot.
Booking your photoshoot
I recommend booking 8 weeks in advance of your launch date for availability, a 50% deposit is required to secure your shoot date. Once you're booked in I collate all the information we have shared into a full treatment brief. The brief outlines the shoot concept, the shot list, the approval method, image aspect ratio and the props selected for the shoot. The image editing
Rest assured your images are in safe hands as I have worked previously as a professional retoucher. I personally undertake all retouching in the days following the shoot ensuring a fast turnaround and consistent image quality.
The studio in Hastings East Sussex
My home studio is equipped with professional-grade lighting and equipment for photography, filled with an abundance of styling props for my homeware, food & drink, beauty and jewellery clients. A relaxed environment to unleash your creativity which feels like home rather than a commercial hire studio. Plus there is access to the large garden.
